Housing Resource Coordinator

This role will provide coordination, oversight and collaborative delivery of the Housing Resource Program (HRP), which provides anti-oppressive and low-barrier housing outreach support to individuals and couples experiencing housing insecurity.  This service is delivered primarily by a team of volunteers supplemented by the Housing Resource Coordinator who also acts as the Senior Practitioner for the program.

We are looking for an organized and community service-oriented individual for this summer job. This role will facilitate and assist with overseeing all food security initiatives and provide administrative support to staff members, volunteers and our community.

Community and Administrative Support (On-Call)

This position welcomes and connects visitors and callers to the applicable staff, program, or services, and provides advocacy or referral(s) to other agencies or resources as needed. They also work with volunteers to oversee the receiving, bagging and distribution of all donations and food, while performing daily maintenance of common and Community Support Program areas. If you love working with people and hold strong organizational and record keeping skills, this on-call position could be for you!

Facilities Assistant

This position facilitates rental booking requests, processes contracts and invoices, and supports with maintaining safe after-hours operations at Quadra Village Community Centre (QVCC) and Quadra Village Neighbourhood Gym (QVNG). It’s ideal for someone looking for part-time evening work.

Building Attendant

This position includes providing a safe and secure space while assisting user groups for the Quadra Village Community Centre (QVCC) and Neighbourhood Gym (QVNG). The building attendant will also be completing administrative tasks, providing a friendly and welcoming environment, and carrying out light cleaning and maintenance. This is a volunteer position with honourariums provided.

One - One Support Worker

We looking for a competent Childcare Leader to provide direct care to a child or children in the Licensed Care Program requiring specific one-to-one support encouraging intellectual, physical and emotional growth.
