Gardener

The Wark Garden Commons is seeking a volunteer arborist or experienced fruit tree enthusiast to assist with the care and maintenance of two of our community trees.

We have a Prune Plum tree in need of pruning, herbiciding, and general care guidance to ensure its continued health and productivity. Additionally, our Autumn Olive tree requires attention and expertise to help restore its natural trunk structure and overall vitality, as it has grown more shrublike over time.

We are looking for someone who can provide hands-on support or offer professional advice on the best practices for fruit tree maintenance and care. Whether you’re an arborist, horticulturalist, or simply someone with strong experience in fruit tree management, your knowledge and time would make a meaningful contribution to the health of our shared green space.
