Join our Cultural Intelligence, Equity and Human Rights Committee

Seeking people with diverse lived experiences to join the committee (both staff and community members)!

The hope is that QVCC and its work will be increasingly welcoming, relevant, and as effective and possible.

You will be compensated for your knowledge-sharing and time!

We would love to hear from you if you have knowledge and lived experience related (but not limited) to:

- Being Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Colour

- Being an immigrant or newcomer to Victoria (Lekwungen, W̱SÁNEĆ, and Esquimalt territories)

- Diverse sexual identity

- Diverse gender identity

- Living with visible and/or invisible disabilities

- Living with mental health issues

- Living with neurodivergency

- Ageing and being a senior/elder

- Being a youth/young person

- Social injustice

- Precarious housing and/or homelessness

- Substance use and/or addiction

- Financial insecurity

- Trauma and/or are intergenerational trauma

- Other personal, political, social, and/or economic barriers
