The Social Connections for Youth is designed to serve youth between the ages of 8-15 in the Quadra Hillside community. The program focuses on recreation, mental health education and safety, while providing a safe environment. Youth build self-worth, connect to the community and form relationships with each other while doing recreation in the community and learning about healthy living. The program provides youth with a sense of belonging, nurtures their ability to make healthy choices as they develop into young adults, and provides ongoing support from our professional staff team.

Hustle Muscle Club:
For youth who identify as boys, trans, Two Spirit, and/or non-binary. Build socials skills while having fun and doing different activities such as sport based play, life skills workshops, exploring local parks, movie night and pizza parties, plus so much more!
Who: 9-13 years old
When: Tuesdays 4:00pm-5:30pm *Start date is September 12th, 2023

Sunset Club:
For youth who identify as girls, trans, Two Spirit, and/or non-binary. Activities include arts & crafts, out-trips, movie night, social skills, friendship, community events, life skills pizza parties, spa days, and so much more!
Who: 8-11 years old
When: Wednesdays 4:00pm-5:30pm *Start date is September 13th

Senior Social Club:
For youth who identify as women, girls, trans, Two Spirit, and/or non-binary. This group centres around personal health & wellbeing, recreational activities, arts & crafts, and social connections.
Who: 12-18 years old
When: Wednesdays 6:00pm-7:30pm *Start date is September 13th

Summer Connections:
For youth ages 10-18. Activities include art projects, exploring beaches in Victoria, and checking out some local businesses such as: Board Game Cafe and Quazar’s Arcade, and more! A free light lunch will be provided.

When: Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays. Time will vary
