What’s Your Vision for Quadra Village and Area?
Your voice matters!
The Villages and Corridors planning process is underway and Quadra Village is one of three Victoria villages and areas that are being focused on. Feedback received from people who live and work in Quadra Village and area will help shape the future when it comes to planning public spaces, transportation and housing(and other developments).
The City of Victoria has an engagement website flagging all of the different ways you can get involved in this process. Be sure to check it out and sign up for updates including survey and open house options. There is a virtual open house of a possible Quadra Village in 2040 . It’s important to make sure the future that you would like is given strong consideration. Maybe it is like the one in the video? Maybe you see something missing? Maybe you imagine something else altogether. The bottom line…..what matters to you, really does matter.
Our goal is to make sure that as many people as possible get involved in giving feedback, especially if you don’t feel powerful. We want to make sure that no matter what your income, background, culture or identity that your voice is reflected in the local area plan that is developed.
